Capstone Development Partners Announces New Hire within Leadership of Its Property Management Subsidiary

Mike Polzin Hired as Vice President – Operations for Capstone Management Partners

Capstone Development Partners (“Capstone”), a leader in the on-campus student housing development industry, today announced the hiring of Mike Polzin as Vice President of Operations of its property management subsidiary, Capstone Management Partners (“CMP”), which provides facility maintenance, asset management and related services for on-campus and university affiliated student housing.

Mike Polzin will be leading CMP’s stabilized, operating portfolios of projects nationwide, including on-campus, affiliated, campus-edge and off-campus projects. He will also provide direct leadership and oversight to CMP Portfolio Managers and cell teams, while assisting with the transition of new projects to the CMP portfolio. To this position, Mike brings his 20 years of experience in student housing, where he began his career in student housing as a community assistant, advancing his career and gaining positions as resident director, assistant general manager, general manager, area manager and then regional manager. At his former company, he provided oversight for 26 communities totaling over 18,000 beds of student housing. He mentored, trained and supervised multiple teams across seven different markets and he led the operational planning and start-up of eight new developments and the successful transitions of multiple assets under acquisition. Applying his experience in maintaining relationships for P3s at multiple universities, Mike will bring a wealth of operations and facilities experience to represent CMP well as a senior leadership team member at the company.
