Capstone Development Partners Opens First Phase of New On-Campus Mixed-Use Student Housing Village at The University of South Florida

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Capstone-Harrison Street announced the opening of Phase 1 of the new on-campus housing community, named The Village, at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Phase 1 of The Village provides 885 beds of first and second-year housing for USF students, a new dining center, named the Hub, and a new wellness center named, The Fit.

Seattle U Housing on the Rise

CAPITOL HILL TIMES - Construction started in mid-May, but the official groundbreaking required the traditional shoveling of dirt. Construction of Seattle University’s 10-story student housing development started in mid-May, but shiny ceremonial shovels hit the dirt Tuesday at the East Madison site. “I like to do groundbreakings when we’ve already broken ground,” said Seattle University president Stephen Sundborg, S.J.

BIRMINGHAM, AL | CHICAGO, IL - Capstone Development Partners and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, one of the largest private equity firms focused on real estate investments dedicated to the education, healthcare and storage sectors, today announced they have successfully closed on an equity financing for an on-campus mixed-use student housing facility (the "Project"), including 300 student housing beds on a gateway site on the Seattle University ("SU") campus.
