Tonia Christensen

Tonia joined the Capstone Companies in 2006 and serves as a key member of the firm’s executive leadership team, managing the company’s legal affairs and acting as a strategic advisor at the corporate level.  Working closely with senior leadership, she helps drive informed decision-making and ensures legal alignment with the company’s growth, partnership, and overall business objectives. 

 Tonia is responsible for developing and executing legal strategies that support the company’s national student housing development and management platform.  She works closely with executive leadership, development and management teams, and financial and University partners, to successfully structure, negotiate and execute complex project financings and development transactions. 

 With extensive experience in corporate law, real estate development, and public-private partnership structures, Tonia provides guidance on a broad range of corporate, transactional, risk management, and governance matters. Her collaborative approach and practical legal perspective help support Capstone’s long-term university partnerships.
