Since first joining Capstone Development Partners as a Development Intern in 2019, Abigail has quickly distinguished herself as a thoughtful and highly analytical leader within the firm’s development platform. Beginning her career with a focus on real estate market research, she was promoted to Development Analyst within months of joining the team and later advanced to Development Manager in 2022, reflecting her strong performance, leadership potential, and growing impact on Capstone’s development efforts.
Abigail works closely with Capstone’s Birmingham-based development and finance teams to manage all phases of the development process, from early project programming and feasibility analysis through design coordination, budgeting, and project closeout. She is known for her analytical mindset, ability to ask the right questions, and commitment to understanding the unique goals and challenges each university partner is seeking to address through development.
Her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and strategic thinking help guide projects toward solutions that align institutional priorities with long-term project success. Abigail consistently brings a fresh perspective, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm to every initiative, contributing to the continued growth and innovation of Capstone’s development team.
I love being a part of the student housing industry. In development, I see the vision become reality. In housing development, I see the influence that living spaces have on quality of life and connectivity. In student housing development, I see (and remember closely as a recent college graduate) how spaces empower and enhance a student’s college experience. I approach my work through the lens of my undergraduate studies involving community/economic development and data analysis. In my local community, I am a proud former president and alumnae of Samford University’s Finance and Economics Women (FEW) club, current member of Birmingham’s chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and volunteer in the Children’s ministry at my church. In my free time, you can find me indoor cycling and spending time with friends.
