Abigail started with Capstone Development Partners in September of 2019 in an internship role focusing on real estate market research and within just few short months, was promoted to Development Analyst. As an Analyst, Abigail deepened her contributions to the team focusing on financial analyses and modeling. Over the course of the past year, Abigail has proven to be a powerhouse in each role she takes on. Abigail brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm in her work, creating a dynamic edge that only further elevates the Development team at Capstone Development Partners. Since assuming her new role, as of October 2020, as a Development Associate, Abigail works closely with Capstone’s Birmingham office development and finance teams to assist with the management of all phases of development ranging from programming to project close out.
I love being a part of the student housing industry. In development, I see the vision become reality. In housing development, I see the influence that living spaces have on quality of life and connectivity. In student housing development, I see (and remember closely as a recent college graduate) how spaces empower and enhance a student’s college experience. I approach my work through the lens of my undergraduate studies involving community/economic development and data analysis. In my local community, I am a proud former president and alumnae of Samford University’s Finance and Economics Women (FEW) club, current member of Birmingham’s chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and volunteer in the Children’s ministry at my church. In my free time, you can find me indoor cycling and spending time with friends.
