Capstone Development partnered with Queens College for the development of the institution’s first on-campus student housing community. The Summit’s design is broken into three identifiable components within a larger facility concept, providing the ability for students to be connected to smaller, themed residential communities, each with its own amenities and identity. The project design incorporates a variety of diverse gathering spaces providing ample opportunity for student interaction and community development. Located in the heart of the campus, the facility includes numerous outdoor courtyard and programmable areas as well as a common gathering space that serves the greater Queens College population, encouraging the campus at large to participate in the experience that is the new core campus residential facility. The Summit was completed in 2009.
