Capstone Development Partners delivered a new 471-bed student residential community located adjacent to the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in Fall 2014. The Cardinal provides 150 apartment-style units with full kitchens, living rooms, and in unit washer dryers, containing 471 single-occupancy bedrooms, and approximately 7,000 sq.ft. of interior amenity space, including the management offices. The Cardinal’s amenities include an activity lounge, fitness center, juice bar, tanning beds, study lounge, swimming pool, sun deck, a grilling deck and two roof terraces with views of the campus, football stadium, downtown Fayetteville, and the Boston Mountains. The design of the Project is on the contemporary end of the spectrum with clean, crisp exterior elements and materials, and sleek, fresh interior design features and furnishings. The Cardinal is LEED Silver Certified. In 2016, The Cardinal was awarded the Innovator Award for Best Architecture for a student housing project with more than 300 beds.
