Claremont University is an independent institution devoted entirely to graduate study. As a member of The Claremont Colleges, CGU is able to offer a greater breadth of faculty and campus resources than is typical of a university with over 2,000 students. Due to an increasing need to provide on-campus housing options for its graduate students in early 2005, Capstone was retained by the campus to provide a housing solution that would meet the demands of students. The two and three level apartment and suite style housing community provides 256 beds broken into five buildings. Apartment style housing is available in studio, one-bedroom/one bath, and two-bedroom/two bath floorplans. Suites, which are smaller than apartments are available in two-bedroom/ one bath and three-bedroom/ two bath floorplans. All of the bedrooms in the community are single occupancy, and all of the units in the complex are fully furnished with the exception of beds.
