Capstone was selected by Washington & Jefferson College to partner in the development of a 15-year campus Housing Master Plan that was delivered in a phased sequence starting with a residence hall, theme houses with a Community Building, and two apartment buildings. Combining the heritage of on-campus buildings dating from 1793 with the initiative to move college housing into the City of Washington, Pennsylvania, Capstone was challenged to offer flexible plans that function in tandem with projected growth in student enrollment over a five year period and beyond. Bica-Ross Hall, Phase I of the project, added a new residence hall with over 120 beds of housing for the WJC campus. Phase 1 was completed in 2004.
