Max Orloff
Financial Analyst
As a Financial Analyst with Capstone, Max’s role is to collaborate with Capstone’s Director of Finance to develop and execute financing strategies for the firm’s development projects. Max is skilled in underwriting and spends much of his time building financial models that use well-informed assumptions to create effective pro formas for each project’s stakeholders. Prior to starting with Capstone, Max attained a degree in Finance from California Polytechnic State University, SLO and has several years of experience in the real estate finance field.

As a young professional, I clearly remember in my not so distant past, the challenges of finding housing in college. Being a part of the solution to that widespread challenge is why I am a proud member of the Capstone team. I am passionate about the development industry because I feel an acute sense of satisfaction from putting together a complex plan and working with an elite team to make that plan come to fruition. Furthermore, the challenges this industry has offered me in my career have constantly pushed me to better myself in terms of my professional acumen as well and my personal development.
To share a little more about myself, I am a fitness geek, a serious outdoorsman and an avid reader. My hobbies include going to the gym, fishing our local waters, and practicing archery. I enjoy the occasional surf session when I am back on the west coast as well!
