Jonathan Denton

Jonathan oversees the performance of Capstone Asset Management Partners’ student housing portfolio through strategic oversight of operations, leasing, capital planning, and financial performance. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate and off-campus student housing, he brings extensive expertise in student housing property management, commercial development, and operational strategy.

Working closely with Capstone’s Development Management and Property Management teams, Jonathan helps align operating and capital budgets to support long-term project success and portfolio performance. He collaborates regularly with university partners and ownership groups to help ensure financial and operational strategies support institutional goals for high-quality housing, resident life programming, and long-term asset value.

Jonathan also leads annual advisory committee meetings with university and ownership stakeholders while supporting ongoing operational reviews, budgeting initiatives, and leasing performance discussions across the portfolio. With a deep operational knowledge of student housing, Jonathan plays a key role in connecting development objectives with successful long-term property operations.
