Jeff Jones

Jeff joined Capstone in 1991 and retired in 2026 after a distinguished career developing student housing communities for colleges and universities nationwide. During his tenure, he oversaw the development of more than 20,000 beds of on-campus and university-affiliated housing. 

He led Capstone’s development and construction management teams through 28 university public-private partnership (P3) projects, including some of the firm’s largest and most complex on-campus and campus-edge residential and mixed-use developments. 

Jeff’s commitment to honesty, transparency, and collaboration helped shape Capstone’s approach to partnering with universities, design teams, and construction partners. His influence continues to be reflected in Capstone’s executive leadership team—many of whom worked closely alongside him and carry forward his values.
