Capstone Development Corp. partnered with Belmont University in 1998 to help the University accommodate its growing enrollment and attract students back to on-campus living. The new housing added 250 beds to Belmont’s housing inventory and provides apartment-style living in a mix of four bedroom/ two bath and two bedroom/two bath suites. The site, located one block from the main campus, was master planned to provide the University with a total of 392 beds at build-out. Since the site is removed from the main campus, the Capstone team designed the new apartments to complement the adjoining Bruin Hills apartments – a complex purchased and renovated by the University in 1995-1996. The new housing was completed in 1999.
