DESCRIPTION

Capstone Development coordinated project management for the new 148-bed student apartment project on the campus of Post University. Located on a partial rock shelf at the base of a slope and on former wetlands, the building foundation is uniquely designed for this space. Capstone guided the permitting process through local approvals including two public hearings and meetings with the US Army Corps of Engineers. The building exterior combines brick and cement siding with standing seam metal roof accent panels atop the building’s center section. An inviting two-story common area on the first floor overlooks the landscaped hillside and study Room and Laundry facilities on the second floor serve as additional popular community areas. The two bedroom, two bath Manager’s unit on first floor has a separate outside entry. There are two additional two bedroom, two bath units for community assistants on the upper floors.
