Capstone partnered with Guilford College in 2004 to develop new apartment-style housing to help the College address its growing enrollment, as well as changing student preferences.
The new Guilford Housing community consists of three apartment buildings with a 6,300 SF student activities community building. The exterior skin of the buildings is brick veneer, with the architectural style designed to complement the historical Guilford campus. The student activities community building houses a large multi-purpose room, warming kitchen, meditation room, public restrooms, and a detached lounge area. The living units consist of all four bedroom / two bath arrangements, providing a full kitchen, and a common living room.
