DESCRIPTION
In 1997 Capstone Development Corp partnered with the University of West Florida to develop two phases of new housing for the UWF campus. Phase I, completed in 1998, provides over 190 beds of housing in a mix of four bedroom/two bath and two bedroom/two bath suites. Phase II of “The Village” was completed in 1999 and provides over 280 beds of housing in a unit mix of four bedroom/two bath and two bedroom/one bath units. A large community building houses a fitness facility, laundry equipment and management offices. Both phases of housing were constructed with masonry and concrete plank.
